My career is a series of unexpected turns, each one the result of trusting curiosity over the obvious next step. I started at a vocational school for agriculture and environmental technology in Austria, then switched direction entirely: studying Molecular Biotechnology in Heidelberg, specializing in Health Data Science. At Harvard Medical School and Heidelberg University, I turned down the opportunity to doctoral positions to bring digital health and AI solutions to patients faster instead. That led me to Roche in Switzerland as an Innovation Manager for digital health. Rather than climb the corporate ladder, I moved abroad again to the US and shifted into consulting, working directly with teams on how they collaborate so healthcare innovations reach patients faster. Today, I work as a coach for individuals and as a strategy and technology consultant for life science companies, focused on digital health and organizational development, based in Vienna, Austria. I also co-initiated a scholarship organization with the Austrian Academy of Sciences, helping students find their own unexpected paths. In the age of AI, embracing uncertainty matters more than ever: my path is proof that saying no to the obvious choice opens doors a straight line never could.
A path of unexpected turns.

Strategy and Technology Consulting on AI & Organizational Transformation
Austria | since 2026
After a decade working on AI use cases in life sciences, I grew tired of the fluff aka big promises, little concrete transformation. Drawing on my background in research institutions and life science companies, I now help leadership teams turn AI use cases into real transformation plans. I work as an embedded sparring partner for leadership teams who want substance over hype.
Strategy and Technology Consulting on Health & Digital Innovation
United States | 2024 - 2026
At inhive group, strategy and technology consulting brought me deeper into health and digital innovation, working alongside life science leaders on product portfolio decisions. Together we built end-to-end innovation processes, designed to measure output from first idea through to launch. Beyond process, several projects centered on reshaping organizations themselves and ways of working to actually support this new approach to innovation. During this time I started to work as a coach.

Innovation Management for Life Sciences & Digital Health
Switzerland | 2020 - 2024
At Roche Diagnostics, I led global, cross-functional teams driving digital health innovation in cardiometabolic care. Strategic business development took center stage, shaping regulatory strategies and new business models for European, US, and Asian healthcare systems. Orchestrating partnerships with startups and healthcare organizations were crucial to bring these innovations to patients. Three promotions in under five years, from project coordinator to manager to lead , reflected this growth.
Health Data Science Researcher at University Hospital Heidelberg
Germany | 2019
Systems medicine in oncology was the focus of my work as a health data scientist in Heidelberg. This role focused on developing clinical decision support algorithms, translating complex biological data into tools that could guide treatment decisions. What began as part of my master's studies grew into a deeper fascination for data-driven medicine.

Co-initiator of Österreichische Studienstiftung
Austria | since 2019
As co-initiator of the Österreichische Studienstiftung, I helped build a scholarship program now supporting over 500 gifted students who take responsibility for society in Austria. Beyond the rich seminars, the program connects students with leaders shaping society across academia, industry, politics, media, and art sparking inspiration well beyond their own field of study.

Health Data Science Researcher at Harvard Medical School
United States | 2017
As a visiting researcher at Harvard Medical School's Department of Biomedical Informatics, I worked as a health data scientist developing digital biomarker algorithms. This early exposure to translating raw health data into meaningful clinical signals shaped my long-term interest in bridging science and patient outcomes. The dynamic, boundary-pushing academic environment at Harvard trained me to think outside the box and challenge common beliefs.

MOLECULAR BIOTECHNOLOGY STUDENT
Germany | 2013 - 2019
My Master of Science in Molecular Biotechnology at Heidelberg University combined a major focus on health data science and cancer research with a minor focus on drug research and biophysical chemistry. This training instilled rigorous scientific thinking and a data-driven mindset, teaching me to question assumptions and build conclusions on solid evidence rather than hype, a discipline that still shapes how I approach projects today.
Agriculture & Environmental Technologist
Austria | 2008 - 2013
Long before consulting or data science, my agricultural and environmental technology vocational high school taught me to work with my hands and trust results over theory. The curriculum left surprising room to run research projects and experiment with entrepreneurial ideas, both things I threw myself into. In hindsight, being given room to try, fail, and rebuild always with close mentorship left a lasting mark on my own leadership style.
